Mein Auto: 335i 2009 AT sports model
Question Changed Rear Brake Pads and Rotors

Hi,

i have changed my rear brake pads and rotors with a indy who charged me 500$ .Indy used textar brake pads and zimmerman rotors are these good for 2009 335i sedan sports pckg?
Also whn i reset the service it showing now 15000mi with new pads on .So is this milege on new pads is usual ? please advice.

You're good. Those are great pads and good rotors. You should be able to change just your pads in about 10k miles if you are concerned.

15k is the std reset level...don't need to worry about that sensors will tell you when is the time to change them.. Rears usually last 30-40k sometimes even 60kmiles - depends how you drive. Front goes about half of the rear.

Textar used to be the OEM supplier for BMW brake pads. Not sure if that's the case anymore.
