Michelin Latitude Tour HP 255/55-18 for cheap

I just bought a set of 18s to use as winter wheels. They currently have some very good tires on with plenty of life.

I got a good deal on the wheels and I want to share it with someone: I'm selling all 4 tires for $150. Yes you read it right: ALL FOUR TIRES FOR A TOTAL OF HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS.

The tires are Michelin Latitude Tour HP run flat. The specs are 255/55-18 109H. Tires are currently on the rims and buyer pays for removal but I can deliver them to buyer if at reasonable distance. I'm in San Diego, CA.

Pictures attached.

Any chance you feel like taking a trip to NY?

Really, that's great of you to share the savings. Wish I was closer to you. My next set won't be run-flats but for that price I'd live with them a a bit longer, haha.

Eheheh... Actually the wheels have the TPMS so I should be good. I'll have to try them out and ensure they work.

Just as an FIY since I looked this up for someone else: the cost of shipping all 4 tires to New York is roughly $250-$260 FOR ALL FOUR (to be confirmed based on buyer ZIP code). Shipment will be via LTL provider (that's less-then-truckload): I'll drop off the tires at a local carrier depo and you pick it up at the local carrier depo. This can be done throughout the country.

If you want a quote to your location go to: http://www.freightcenter.com/QuickQuote.aspx

My ZIP code is 92057; in location type select Terminal to both me and you. According to tirerack (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ude+Tour+HP+ZP), the weight per tire is 42lbs and the measures are 30x30x11. For freight class use the lookup tool to find tires ("Automotive" - "Wheels or Tires" - "Tires, pneumatic")

^^ OMG. UPS and FedEx ground band them together and charge $25 a tire, last time I checked. (Although I had a fedex contract)

http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/res...lar.html#Tires

Also, greyhound will ship for 2 tires strapped together, 45 lbs, from CA to NJ for $65: http://www.shipgreyhound.com/e/SitePages/gpxStep1.aspx

I purchased a one piece rollbar for the Pcar from Maine- out here to Cali for $140.

Tires changed

This is what I did for my tires - 2013 X5 35d

- I had Bridgestone H/L 400 RFTs (i guess). Changed them when 1/8 thread was left (22K miles). Stored them in my shed
- Installed Bridgestone non RFT Ecopia 422 for $846 installed
- Order Spare Tire kit for $380 online

At lease end I will decide, if I buy the car, I will continue using Ecopia 422 and sell the RFTs to someone on this forum who will be stuck at the same situation needing RFTs to return to lease. I am in Central NJ

If I decided to return, I can put RFT back and return and see what I can do with the non-RFTs.

But a decision now can save lots, unless one sticks with RFT till the end ...

Ok, I've been asked about thread dept: I don't have a gauge so here's the penny trick.

By the way the price is really take it or leave it: $150 + buyer pays to remove the tires. If they don't sell for that I keep 'em and use them.

I've measure all tires in spots:

Here's the date stamp of all 4 tires:

Here's the rim: if you like them and want to trade them (provided I like yours and yours, they are not aftermarket nor repainted nor scratch and come with TPMS compatible with my car) it's a flat $150
