Aero dynamic kit

HI All
I have a 2012 X5 35d I am thinking of getting a OEM aero kit from BMW PN: 51192182825
I also came across anther OEM kit PN 51190413824. What is the difference in these two kits? Has anyone mounted these on an X5 with a tow hitch?

The former looks like it is for the 2011-2013 models X5. The latter looks like it is for 2007-2010 models X5.

You would want BMW PN: 51192182825

Yes I wanted to get this but that eBay looks to cheap to be good, has anyone installed that one with no issue.

No experience with it, but my thoughts are these things are more popular on the 3 series and even 6 series - where the owners want the car to look sportier and make up for not being an M.
I would proceed with caution. These types of cosmetic mods are very personal and could hurt resale value. If they are of poor quality or change the look of the car too much - particularly on something like the X5 which is really more of a family hauler than an attention grabbing sports car - you could alienate a lot of potential future buyers or hurt trade in value. If you don't care about resale, roll the dice and knock yourself out. I'm sure it's all reversible.

Besides being dumb on an X5...much less a diesel. Just MHO.

You do realize that these need to be painted then clearcoated.

If you need instructions, maybe just have the shop that does the paint do the install.
