X6 E71 / E72 (2008 - 2014)
The BMW X6 luxury crossover went on sale in April 2008 as a 2009 model year. BMW referes to the X6 as a Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) as it combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, xDrive and all-weather ability) with the stance, styling and roof line shape of a coupe. The E71 X6 was built off the E70 X5 (2007 - 2013) platform at BMW's Spartanburg, SC plant. Total worldwide sales were just over 235,000, sold mostly to the BRIC countries. US total sales was 34,082 vehicles.

Need help with 20 inch wheels

Hello, I've leased 2014 X6 35i . It has sport pkg. and has 19 inch wheels. I want to install style 336 20 inch wheels and the question is do i have to change existing wheel arch so 20 wheels do not stick out? Will style 336 20 wheels from 2011 to 2013 fit my 2014 X6 35i? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Mein Auto:
This week I've just had BMW's Performance Y-Spoke 21 inch wheel n' tyre kit fitted to my X6M.. they also fit any other X6 model and they DON'T stick out.

They're a BMW approved upgrade and warranty is safe... They look better in the X6's huge arches.
Tyres on these 21's are:
285/35/R21 front
325/30/R21 rear

They're a spot on look and fit.
Highly recommended dude..
Go for it!

Thank you Justin X6M.

Since my posting I've found out that one does not need to worry about changing wheel arches for any X6 when upgrading to 20 or 21 from 19. They will not stick out. As far as mounting X5 wheels on X6 is concern they will work but because of different bore size one would have to use hub centric rings for fitment, However X5M and all X6 trims are interchangeable.
