How can someone legally do that? It reminds me of that Ford Escort on MTV's "Pimp my Ride" that they turned into a pseudo BMW. Pathetic!!

it is pathetic. A KIA isn't even worthy of the attempt to look like a BMW anyway!

"Made by Mobis, the official oem parts manufacturer of Kia" - I wonder if Bangle is a consultant to Mobis, as this looks like some of his styling direction

Ewwww! It's funny though, because a lady at my work who drives a Kia SUV made the comment to me that my X5 looked liked her Kia. I politely laughed and opted not to dress her down for that insult.

This X5 imposter thread calls for a couple of pictures courtesy of PatX5 (Where are you Pat???) who captured these images of an apparent new venture between BMW and Ford. People, people, people.

Good move cutting her some slacks, Kevin.

Yep, I remember those pics posted by PatX5 of the Ford X5 . I still can't believe he was driving and still managed to take those pics. The man's got some skills. Next time I need a private eye, I'll contact him .

Except fender mirrors on Asian SUVs only go on the driver's side...

Don't you just love those X5 posers ?

Hi everyone!
Kevin, got those pictures of the Ford that had X5 BMW emblems & badges from the other BMW site...

Yes, I used to be a Private Investigator - how did you know that I used to do video surveillance while driving 70MPH on the freeways in LA ???

How else would I know? I don't know of anyone who can take pics like that while driving 70mph. I couldn't take pics that clear standing still and with a tripod . Good to see you peeking in here once in a while, Pat.

(BTW ignore my babbling smilie avatar. That was meant for little Joel.)
