will catless DPs or FMIC void the extended wastegate warranty?

I have a 08 E92 and im getting the wastegate chatter/rattle, ive installed JB4, DCI and charge pipe with bov, the next modification I would like to make is either the downpipes or FMIC or both, I am wondering if I should attempt to get my wastegates fixed BEFORE going onto further mods that cannot be easily removed.... anyone have any experience with taking in your n54 for service on the wastegate rattle with mods? esp. downpipes or fmic? thanks for your help!!

My gut feel is that BMW could easily make a case that modifying back pressure could result in damage to upstream components.

++

As a supporting example, Ecotune in Scotland (diesel tuner) won't sell it's M57 tune to anyone that has removed the DPF (or at least any DP than theirs, which has features to let their tune handle things). The reason being that a turbo over-run can (has) happen because of the lowered back-pressure. If a tuner won't do it, don't you think BMW will have the same attitude?

Depends on the dealership but intercooler will most likely not give you any problems.
