Mein Auto: BMW 11' 328i xdrive sedan
Question New to BMW. 11' 328i xdrive. Looking for mod advice!

Just purchased a gorgeous 11' 328i xdrive with 15k miles, one owner. In love with it - as my previous car was a 02' Cavalier with 215k miles haha.

White exterior with beige leather interior.

I'd really like to make some modifications, but I am hesitant to void the warranty (CPO and 7 months of the original BMW warranty left).

I'm open to interior/exterior modifications, but really I'd like to boost horsepower, preferably from the stock 265 hp to 300 hp.

I'll add more pictures once the sun comes up later today, haha.

Stoked for some input from ya'll!

Ben

Very little you can do, it's not a turbo. Also your car doesn't have 265Hp

It's got 230. BMS powerbox will get you five. Probably get another five or ten from lighter wheels but that is pricey and they are more likely to bend in a pothole

Enjoy the ride, she's good-looking. You have 230 HP, really a well balanced I6 motor. Try the sport mode for more spirited transmission shifting. My advice is save money for quality maintenance, do not modify. When you are ready, move up to an M3 for performance.
You are likely still with stock tires, upgrade to non-RFT at some point.

Your first mod should be dumping the run flats. Other than suspension mods, which are also limited due to it being an xDrive model, there is not much you can do for performance.

Save your money for maintenance as watchme said.

BMW intake would be fine... That's about it for the 328 boys sorry bud, especially if your worried about the warranty.

If your not too concerned with warranty or have skills under the hood and can remove stuff with ease. Power Box from BMS, lighter exhaust and Wheels + intake.

^with those mods you'd be super lucky to be making 235whp /200wtrq but probably more like 215/196

Suspension is the only good bang for the buck on the N52 and/or driving lessons. There is no practical power gained from anything sold, especially intakes.

I agree, driving lessons will teach you how to drive your car closer to it's limit and is something that everyone can benefit from.

Unfortunately only the 2006 330 got the hefty 255HP. After that, they "de tuned" the 328 to 230 HP.
