Mein Auto: BMW E90
lip on disc brake (E90, 320I, 2006)

Good morning all,

I want to ask you is it compulsory to grind or polish my disk brake if there is lip on it however the surface of the disc is smooth ? my car is E90 320i 2006.

No.


That said, the BMW is of such excellence that rotors are routinely replaced at brake pad replacement time whether they need it or not.
