Unhappy Be careful out there

Funny how we were talking about "manning up and turning DSC OFF" in my other thread titled "Traction Control Woes".

We don't know what happened here, but it just goes to show you how dangerously fast these cars are and no matter how much technology is built into them and how they have extremely high torsional rigidity, they are still man made cars and there is no cheating law of physics.

Rest in peace. I wonder if he had family and kids. What a terrible news

The good news is "one car accident." Google Maps shows the accident happened on a 4 lane, undivided street, running past single family homes and apartment buildings. No idea what he was thinking going triple digits (?) at 10:30 AM. Thank God he didn't take out a jogger, a 12-year-old chasing a ball, or a mother pushing a baby stroller.

Per LongIsland.com, the vanity plate on the car was REEELLY.

Per Zoom Info, he was an F&I guy at Nissan of Garden City, which is a block and a half from the accident scene. So I doubt very much it was even his M5.

And in the "You can't make this stuff up" vein, his FB page has a photo of George Carlin, with the quote "Think about how stupid the average person is. Then realize that half of them are stupider than that." As Forest Gump's mother would say "Stupid is as stupid does."

Usually the driver doing the stupid shizz survives and some innocent person loses their life...

Is it time for "dibs on the wheels" yet? We don't like that guy, right?

Beautiful car, too
