M3Inline6's ///M4 delivered!

I finally picked up my car yesterday after it was delayed about 3 days at the VPC. I'm absolutely in love with this car. It's an absolute bully, and a much better car than my previous E46 and E9X ///M3's. Here are a few photos:

The car sounds really good to me. I'm not a sound Nazi though. The V8 sounds splendid, but hot damn if this car isn't an engineering masterpiece. It's just so good in all areas.

Good stuff! Can't wait to check yours out. I think I was most excited about Full Leather because none of my previous ///M's had it, and I've always wanted it. This motor is insane though. Absolutely insane.

I can't believe you stood me up on your road trip. You could've been here in like 3.5 hours.

I honestly didn't think you guys wanted to hear more of the same. LOL! I will say this. This car deserves the praise it's getting. I borrowed a friend's ZCP E92 for a bit today just to do a comparison. It felt so slow, which surprised me because I know it's not. The new car is just that much better. From about 4200 RPM-on, the new car is just a freight train, and it holds revs. It doesn't feel like a turbo at all. It's that responsive. Also, I was a bit cynical about the 6MT's rev match feature, but I withdraw my criticism. It is nicely implemented and not intrusive.

Does new one have that cold start sound or is it less of it

Less of the mechanical sounds, but a lot of hissing, whining, buzzing, and zinging. It's like a pressurized space ship. I haven't quite figured out where some of the sounds are coming from. Lol!

Display in mirror is hidden like compas just red collor numbers.
Well done job, no visible wires and components. Universal botton #3 is on/off switch. All done by original owner.
Ever heard of that ?

I haven't personally, but there are a lot of really well integrated kits out there for detectors and cameras. I've even seen custom concealed carry kits designed for the center armrest; real trick stuff.

So it hooks up ECU?
In about another 1000 miles. Yes, it plugs into the CAN. This gauge is also found on the Alpina B3/B4.

I just got it installed yesterday, and my car isn't broken in yet, but I'll run it tonight and report back.

Cool, don't strain the car though, I'm a firm believer in proper break-in procedure.

Nice YMB! I am already in information overload while driving the new car. I think Awron will just distract me even further. But it is pretty cool. Any issue with missing an air vent?
