Need advice 2014 vs 2015 x3 x28i

Debating between the following and would appreciate your thoughts on the $$ difference (how much cheaper should the '14 be to choose it) that would cause you to choose the '14 below over the '15. Other comments welcome.

Both are X3 x28i

2014 X3 Demo

less than 4000 miles
Tech
Premium package
Drivers Assistance (Camera + Sensors only)
Heated front seats
Hi Fi (I dont care about this)
Roof rails

2015 X3

Nav (not tech)
Premium package
Drivers Assistance (Camera + Sensors only)
Heated front seats

I dont really place much value on the options that are on this '14 and not on the '15. Sure, the more the better, I just dont place much value on those.

What are the prices of each X3? The 2015 is a LCI while the 2014 is not, some people on BF must have the latest and greatest and some do not. Some will poke fun at people who buy because of price, while others will flaunt how much they spent on their BMW...

The only person who can answer the question is you..

Get the one with the most options you want at the best price you can afford.

I wanted the 2015 28d but with the options I wanted was costing way above my affordability, I luckily found a CPO Elite 2014 with all the options I wanted except 1 (Lane Departure warning) but thats ok everything else checked with my pockets and taste.

Go for 2014 x3. LCI chagrs are mostly cosmetic. I bought 2014 x3 35i in less price than 2015 x3 28i and really happy with my decision.

Cut/Paste by me from the aforementioned thread that talks about your same issue:

$48,050 + possible color charge is MSRP for the 1 year old 2014 X3 35i. To find out invoice, take .92 of base and .91 of options; add destination fee, MACO ($350 in my State) and Training ($180) and you'll have invoice price. This is important because you should be paying about $1000 under invoice for a 1 year old vehicle with less than 10 miles on it- truly brand new; but a year old model. If it has more miles on it you should be paying less. What the dealer may not be telling you is that they get $2500 from BMW for selling a 2014 X3 now. Your discount from MSRP is actually $5500. Per my calculations they are offering you a car in the $1500-$2000 under invoice range. Not bad if it's brand new vehicle that's a 1 year old model. Have dealer show you sales receipt to verify exact numbers.

2015 X3 is a refreshed model. All LED lighting package now available. Turn signals are on side mirrors instead of side of doors. Navigation system update and Navigation touch wheel. Front/Back look slightly different. Not much else.

$2700 off MSRP for 2015 X3 is way too little. You should be shooting for $1000 to $500 over invoice. Even on a special order brand new refreshed model.

In addition, your 2014 X3 is a used vehicle with 4K miles. So, $2500 rebate from BMW for buying brand new 2014 X3 with less than 10 miles on it. Add at least $1000 under invoice for a 1 year old brand new 2014 X3 with less than 10 miles on it. If 2014 X3 you wanted was brand new you'd already be at least $3500 under invoice. Adding 4000 miles on it you should be even lower
