2007 335xi codes - my turn!!! Help Help!!!

I have a 2007 335xi, 6 sp manual, Dinan Stage 2 software (it was on there when I bough the car at 89k miles) no real past history of service. Car now has 132k miles with only regular basic maintenance performed. Over the past couple of months I've started getting the yellow half lit engine light which indicates reduced power output. It also brings up CC ID 29 code on the dash. I've also noticed while driving that some times the car pulls super hard and sometimes it doesn't. One day it's bad @$$ the next it's a pooch. Can't come up with anything to attribute to the performance differences. I suspect it has something to do with the turbos not building pressure. I have gone through and replaced all of the vacuum lines that run across the top of the motor as I saw on various sites that can be an issue. It didn't help mine. The reduced power light comes on consistently now when I hold down the throttle most of the way to red line. In higher gears this takes longer and seems to trigger the light more frequently than say in first or 2nd gear which it gets through very quickly. I've also kind of noticed a sketchy acceleration, hard to describe, but it may not be smooth when it's higher up in the RPM/power range. The motor runs very smooth, but when floored it seems like it might be stumbling a bit. The light resets every time I turn the car off/on and it's fine until I get on it again.

So, from the advice of many on here (I've been researching this for a while) I ordered the Bavarian Technic cable and hooked it up yesterday and pulled the following codes (see attached):

2AAF & 30FF

So now I'm at a loss. I've read about walnut shell blasting, camshaft bearing ledge, turbo's failing, HPFP (although I don't think I have these symptoms), waste gate actuator sticking and rattling, coil packs, vacuum leaks, intake cracks/leaks, etc... so before I start tearing the entire car apart and throwing $$$$$$ at it I'd like to maybe try and narrow down some of the above or get pointed in an entirely new direction if needed. I'm pretty mechanical and not afraid to tear into things, just don't want to wastefully throw time and money at it. Thanks in advance!!!

The 2AAF appears to be kicking because it's not seeing any fuel flow (and as the engine is running, there must be fuel flow), thus the comment about "plausibility". Could be the pump, could be a sensor.

I have a random 30FF that will set a half-engine. Places to look in increasing order of cost:
  • vacuum lines ($)
  • pressure converters ($$)
  • boost leak ($$) - you should hear this, though.
  • turbo actuators ($$$$)

BavTech tool is the user friendly scanner.

BMW Standard Tools with coding cable is a much better suite but also much less user friendly.
