OK, I decided screw the shop... My brother, my friend and I are going to install the Remus next Wednesday. Does anyone have detailed instructions or info on this?

CJ: Joining in with the entire crowd, why would you want to?

ANY muffler joint can do the job in 45 min or less and for the 100 bucks max, it seems to me that would be the way to go. Yeah, it's potentially a DIY proj., but so is making one's own bricks for the new house construction...

CJ - look in your local yellow pages under "Muffler & Exhaust Systems" and call a few of them to get an estimate. Midas is certainly one alternative, although I tend to prefer smaller established independent shops.

The corner joints usually let you watch and bs w/the guys, too. If they do a good and prompt job, buy the guy lunch via a TIP,imo.
