switching maps on JB4

Hello I am running map 2 on my 335xi and I like to switch back and forth between maps 0, 1 and 2 to feel the power difference, I am wondering if it resets any of the learned adaptations when you switch from map 2 back to stock then back to map 2 does it take time to learn again or is that only map 5? trying to find out where my seeming loss of power went, I think its due to be afe DCI sucking in straight hot air my IATs went up 20 degrees to 100 degrees when I installed that damn intake.... as weird as it sounds I sware there was a little power drop off when I installed my charge pipe/hks too but who knows maybe it doesnt seem as fast becuz i just got used to it i dunno... it does miss a lot and idle rough when cold I was considering some upgraded coils however i have an extended warranty that would cover the coils so i dunno.... thx

When you switch to another map adaptations immediately start to change. Often if one map seems to not be what you want, switching to another for a bit and then back shows benefit.

I like Map 5....

For street use forget DCI's - pay attention to your plugs & intake valves. Stock air intake pretty good from the factory. Excellent in fact.

yes every time you switch maps you should do a few pulls so it adapts.
If the CP is installed correctly you will not lose any power.
I think you just get used to the extra boost.
Post a few datalogs and we would be able to see how the car is performing.
