2007328xi upgrade from 16" rims to 18" rims...

I have 205/55/16 stock rims and tires. I want to upgrade to 18" or 17" and there is a good deal on 18" rims and tires but they seem to be too big???? 245/50/18 seems a bigger circumference than what I have and I don't want it screwing up the xdrive.... here is a pic from the ad. Seems like a 3 series. I inow there are a lot of posts but I need to kind of figure this out fast.

i think 18" rims look perfect on these days. 17" shows a bit too much rubber and 19" doesn't have enough rubber to protect the rim in the case of potholes

i have 225/40/18 front and 245/35/18 oem m-sport rims

245/50/18 wouldn't screw up your xdrive but it'd throw your speedo off and tpms maybe too depending if yours is in the suspension or in the tire
