Dinan on a 2014 550

Has anyone installed the Dinan engine upgrade stage 1,2,or 3 on a 2014 550. And if so your thoughts about the improvement and drivability.
Thanks
Steve

Mine is getting done now. Should be complete very soon. We are just waiting on the intake. I did everything for breaks to intercoolers exhaust the full deal. I will post pictures and more about it once I get it.

I did the Dinan stage 1 to my 2014 550xi. At first I didn't notice a difference vs. Stock. I was told the computer needed some time to calibrate. After that I did notice a difference but not overwhelming for the 2800 dollar price tag. Car shifts later and any hesitation off the line is gone. My thoughts are that by the time your done with dinan upgrades to make the car noticeably faster...might as well just get an m5.

That's kind of how I felt. I was going to go with the M5 I always had M cars expect for my 7 that I had back in 04. I was just going to do a few things to the like the software and exhaust but got carried away and did it all. Kind of wish I had went with the M5. I think next time around that is the way I will go when the change it.

AlfredII,

Did you get you car back? Can you give some additional feed back on what you had done and your reviews?

I did not get it back yet. Should be soon. They are waiting on the intake. Dinan had some parts that were changed for the 2014 car. That is all I am missing. I am hoping with I in this week or next. I sure will let you no what I think of it. I hope it will be good I have spent a lot of money.

My stage 2 flash made a noticeable difference. Off the line the car launches very hard.
