I have an E90 325i. I replaced the ambient temperature senson because of erratic readings. However, even with the new sensor the readings are still erratic. Can anyone advise what should I look at next to fix this problem. The incorrect temp display is affecting the A/C. Thanks
Well, why did you suspect the sensor, or was it a first stab? A little testing's in order, and the man, the Big Kahuna, the VLAD PUTIN of air conditioning is one of our own: DSX
The sensor was cheap so I took a punt. I should have known better as the cheap solution never works for me. I'm new to this forum - can you advise how I contact the Big Kahuna the A/C wizard?
Ambient temp sensor in the front of the bumper is not used for ac control.
The sensor used for ac control is mounted on the passenger side, windshield cowl ...by the dme splash sheild and micro filter cover.
