What are the faults that are stored?

You need a BMW specific scanner to pull shadow faults if no lights are on.

The traction control light comes on once I go over 65mph and then turns off when I let it decelerate

if you dont have a code reader, or a bently manual, then take it to the dealer and they will tell you what is wrong with it

best thing we can offer is to guess the cost I am thinking it will be about 1000.00 to fix it

What size tires and wheels are on the car? If you have a set with badly matched sizes, the DSC can get confused.
