Group Buy for 2005 X5 Voice Module

Our resource at Crevier BMW has offered a group buy discount for 5 or more folks who would like to purchase the voice recognition module. Instead of $375, he will sell it for $360 to the participants of the group buy.

My response: I will try to organize the group buy but we need one stand alone order to be filled first. I would like one of us to buy the module, document the install, THEN we'll feel comfortable doing the group buy.

Vahah at Crevier has agreed to sell the first one at $360 for one of us to install it and document the success.

By way of a reply to this thread, please let me know if you'd like to be the first installer and be willing to provide feedback to the group on how it went. After your success I'll organize a group buy for the rest of us. I would volunteer but I don't take Performance Center delivery of my '05 X5 until mid-January.

What do you think?

Did you check Pacific BMW's price? IIRC, on my BT module they were about $25 less than Crevier. (Ask for Louie)

I don't know if it's taboo here--just couldn't resist.

Not for the MY05 as it comes with the BMW Assist and Bluetooth bundled in one unit.
You will have to buy the VR separately for MY05 only if you want the VR features.
