steering rack ratio 99 m-coupe vs 01 m-coupe
i was looking at old articles in Bimmer Magazine and noticed something...
1999 M-coupe has a steering rack ratio of 17.8:1 2001 M-Coupe has a steering rack ratio of 16.3:1 anyone know if this is actually true?

'99 versus '01
Parts data shows the same part number used in both.
Up to 12/97 has a different part number. The non M's have a different part number.

probably just a error on the magazine's part...i'll trust the part number info!
