Transmission Fluid MTF-LT-2

This came up on the roadfly E46M3 board awhile ago.

http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums...5264627-1.html

From 09/03 transmissions came with the new MTF-LT-2. Someone had his fluid changed and they put in MTF-LT-1 since the MTF-LT-2 wasn't available here. The tranny didn't shift as well and he found out about the new MTF-LT-2.

Well it is now.

You have to decide that. I plan to. In time it will be the only one available if you choose to use the BMW stuff.

i was under the impression that the 2.8's trans carried over to the 3.0 and the ///Ms had the ZF.

I referenced the BMW EPC parts use. S5D320Z THCH. See following pic.
That bullettin also implies that the M's have the Torsen style differential and they don't.
