Locked Out ! - URGENT
I am locked out of my 95 740i. When I put in the key (remote is inop) and turn. it turns in either direction 360° without unlocking the door. It was very cold the last couple of days and the car was outside. I have tried holding the door handle up (just in case there is a heater) but that did not work either.
I have heard there is an emergency door/lock release cable but I cannot find anything about it. All of my manuals are locked inside the car. Anyone????? I'm desparate! |

Go figure. I sprayed some de-ice in the keyhole and voila, it worked. The cylinder will not rotate 360° and the locks work perfectly.

And the dealer wanted me to two it in and break out a window????
