Seattle Inspections?

There's a M Coupe I am looking at in Bothell(close enough...) WA and I need to get an inspection done it before I decide to make the trip down to see it.

Can anyone recommend anyone or a reputable agency?

Personally, I like Car Tender on Capital Hill. Great service and their work is top notch.

If you have use a BMW dealer, personally I prefer BMW Seattle (even though BMW of Bellevue never mistreated me) simply because they can schedule me in within days, unlike a week or 2 in advance with Bellevue.

Car Tender in Seattle, Strictly BMW in Bellevue, or Eastside Bavarian in Issaquah.

And if you get it, you must post pics.

I'm getting one - the question is which(there are two in/around Seattle that I am looking at.) I'm trying not to get *too* excited.

I did my buyer's inspection at Eastside Bavarian, and they were very competent. The car was done quickly and I was given a large checklist showing what they inspected and what needed attention. Most, if not all, of the techs working there are former techs from the dealers around the area. I cannot say anything for Car Tender or Strictly BMW, though have heard good things about them.

Just so you know, Seattle and Bellevue are about 30min from Bothell (but along the freeway), and Issaquah is about 45 minutes from Bothell.

Strictly BMW is great at tallying repairs... Not so hot at doing the repairs...

Heh, no way! I'd love to drive it back myself but at this time of year that's asking for a new paint job. Tons of rockchips.

I did the trip in my 330Ci once in the spring and it needed a hood/fender repaint when I got home because they were just sandblasted.

Thanks again everyone.

I ended up getting the car taken to Strictly and they uncovered a bunch of problems with the car(some very obvious... like the drivers door not even lining up and the gas cap sticking out 1/4")

At least it saved me the cost of a plane ticket.
