323i headlight bulb upgrades
I have a 323i and want to upgrade the factory H7 55 watt bulb to a H7 70 watt bulb. Is this going to cause any problems, such as melting any part of the headlight housing or frying the wiring?

I would recommend against the higher wattage bulbs. The best upgrades for H7's are to get EUROPEAN Silverstars. Do not get the US Silverstars sold in Pep Boys etc unless you like to overpay for things. Although the US product is of decent quality (made in Germany) and will not hurt, they are trendy colored, short lived (maybe one year) and very spendy. The European ones and much information is available here:http://www.danielsternlighting.com/p.../products.html. Or here:http://www.electricalconnection.com. They also have European Philips VisionPlus H7's which are equivalent competitors to Osram Sylvania Silverstars. Navigate through Daniel Sterns site and it will all be explained. Or search for European Silverstar H7.
