This may be a good idea in terms of looks - even the 17"s don't look particularly big - but I fear for (a) the erosion in ride quality and (b) the attitudes of customers who don't realise that those big rubber-band tyres will cost a fortune to replace. Already folks on the UK boards are bemoaning the replacement costs (as the cars fall into the hands of those who couldn't necessarily afford to run them new).

CAR magazine tested a 330i and 320d this month and pronounced the ride very good, all things considered, even though run-flats were fitted. Perhaps the engineers have finally got round to setting up the suspension to match!

It's jelly-bean shaped, rounded and has the same long bland hood as a sentra. she could be on to something. i thought buick initially but she may be right.
