G-Tech for $35!!

Has anyone bought one of these?
If indeed they are brand new as claimed, it's a heck of a deal.

Several good bargain tips in that site.

But is the G-Tech worthy of my attention at that price? Is it accurate enough?
Or should I pay the $200 for the Escort one?

Is it worth your attention at that price? It depends on what you want to do with it. The Escort product has features that the GTech doesn't have. If you don't want them, why pay for them? If you do want them,...

At $200, though, you might want to consider the newer GTech products. Their GTech Pro SS does pretty much everything the Escort does and a little more for the same price.

I used the Modbargain's website tip on the Bosch wiperblades for my 325es at Advanced Auto Parts and bought a pair and got a $10 giftcard to the store via mail. Basically buy one get one free!

I use the Bosch MicroEdge wipers.
In TX weather, they last from 1 to 2 years. That's not great, but reasonable.
Don't just bitch about it. Recommend a better alternative.

thanks for the heads-up, i just ordered one.

from what i read of other people's test over the years, the old gtech pro (the one being sold here) is farily/pretty accurate and consistent. in the 1/4 measurement, it reads the mph only at the end point (instead of averaging it out over the last xxx feet as they do at the track) so the mph would be higher than you would get at the track. and i think it usually reads 0.1 ~ 0.2 seconds off compared to more reputable measurements (like a drag strip) but it will always be off by the same amount so it's good in its consistency.

i always wanted one but not at the $200 price they were charging a few years ago.
