window switches
E90 will have its window switches on the driver's side like all other makes now and like the 5 and 7
what is the general preference of people? window switches on the console ( E46 ) or on the driver's side ( E90 )? |

It just takes me a while to get used to them wherever they are. I like the middle since I usually have that hand free for shifting anyway. But I'm sure that I'll make the change with no trouble.

After 30+ years of driving non-bimmers, I'm used to having the switches on the door. After 3+ years with a BMW, I'm getting used to them on the console, but I still find myself reaching for the door when I want to use the switches.

It's much more ergonomic (for me) to have them on the console.
