2006 330Cic?

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find any refrence to it.....what is going to happen for the 2006 model year for the 330CiC? Specifically:

1) Will it get the new valvetronic engine that the E60 is getting?
2) Any other updates in option before the new E90 convertible?
3) How long will the current E46-based converttible be around?
4) When will we see the model year 2006?

I keep going back and forth between a 530 and a 330CiC.....I need to transport 2 kids once in a while, so the practical side of me says get the 4 door (its the prudent thing to do) but I love the looks and feel of a converttible (currently have a Z3 which is getting VERY small).

Cheers,

OnOn

If there is a 2006 330Cic, it will be an E46 with the current engines, most likely unchanged from 2005.

The E90 coupe/convertible probably won't be ready until MY2007.

I agree with what you're saying except there is no "if". There will be a 2006 CiC.

I don't believe you will see any E46's with the new engine. They don't just drop em in. There is too much expense / research involved.

If you want the new engine you will have to buy the new car.

If you want the "old" car you have to put up with the old engine (which is pretty, pretty, pretty.....good).

My two cents.
