E90 Configurator

Found a configurator at this URL while goofing off at work. I think this is new. Sorry if it's not.

Hit the "Explore the All-New 3 Series" button. The next screen will have a "Build Your 3" button down on the lower left side.

It's nice to see that the amber required by US regs won't be too obnoxious.

Thanks! I didn't notice that. They must have just made it available (or I'm blind).

I wonder if the options listed on the configurator is the full list? But it is cool to see that the sports package has a nice looking steering wheel !! Hopefully we can get the pricing soon.

I thought I was a brushed aluminum guy, but that poplar is very hot with Terra leather.

That's exactly right.

that rear end shot of the E90 on the configurator leaves a lot be desired

Try clearing your cache from your browser and try again.

Nice configurator... The car is ok, IMO, but I like the E46 better. Is that the full color list? Those colors aren't great choices, they're all too similar. And I'm assuming that isn't the full options list?

Nice. I did up a white 330i. Not too shabby. Argh it's growing on me.

The non-sport seats look flabby.

Oh my god something's wrong. My first instinct when i saw your picture was, Hey That's a Nice Looking Car. What's happening to me?!?!?! HELP!!!!

So it looks like the wheels will be optional regardless if you have the sport package or not?

IMO the only wheels that look good are the optional 330 wheels. The rest are pretty horrendus.

did anyone else notice the Gran Turismo 4 pics and video on the same link?

I like both the 325i and the 330i sport package wheels, with the 330's better. The wheels do remain part of packages though. I have mine on order, and there were no a la carte options for wheels.

I think the biggest thing I'm psyched about are the width adjustable back bosters on the front seats. I think that's a first for a non-M 3 series..

Good catch. Maybe angel eyes only come with the xenons?

Xenon's are optional on the 325i. Ordering them gets you adaptive headlights and angel eyes. No adaptive feature or angel eyes on non-xenon headlamps.

Where is the Lemon Interior...i have a 3 on order with the lemon interior and i have a pretty good idea what its gonna look like cause i saw it on an older 5 at the bmw dealer i bought my new 3 at...but its strange its not in there.

I just checked that out. Someone really needs to instruct the kid who was "driving" it about the racing line and hitting the apex. That video was of some really bad race driving.

I've been told unless you get the 330i with sport package you can only buy the 18inch 162 wheels as accessories after you have bought the whole car. So get that model or expect to shell out a few more thousand for wheels. This is in US only of course. In Europe you can a la carte. I'm going to suffer through style 161s with a 325i sport package.
