ZHP rebadge

Has anyone seen a ZHP rebadged as a 330i M? Apparently Canadian buyers purchase a 330i M sedan and not a 330i with Performance Package. I would like to see pictures of the emblems if they are different from the standard (US) emblems.

I believe it's referred to as the "M Clubsport Package" there, and does not include the engine modifications.

www.bmw.ca will answer your questions about what us Canucks to the north can buy.

Actually you can get either, a "330i M sedan" - I think this matches your ZHP, or a "330i Sedan", with an M package (includes most stuff but has 17" rims and 225HP).

NO, I find it interesting that the cars are marketed differently and possibly badged differently in Canada vs. the US. Same car, same options, different name.

In Mexico a 320i Formula 1 is offered at $38,400. This car is known in other markets as a 320i M Sport.

Whilst we're on the subject of Comonwealth countries, the same car in New Zealand is sold as the 330i M-Sport, and comes with a single ///M badge on the back where "330i" would go. That would be stock, as sold by the dealer, and subsequently expected by new and second-hand buyers.

The same BMWs have often been badged differently because the local market dictates it (525e/528e, 733i/735i, M6/M635CSi etc.).

Unfortunate, but sounds like a lot of people around my neighborhood. Did he know how to open the hood at least?

The 330i M (M Performance Package) is the equivalent to the US' ZHP. I think the 330i M name was added for the 2005 model year separate from the 225 HP 330i. The 2004 model year was still grouped within the 330i model, but the performance package was an optional package. (I kinda call my car 330i M because it is much shorter than writing out the whole thing)

The US ZHP gets the red needles...we get the white needles. You have MPH and KPH for your speedo, we only have KPH.

AFAIK, the badging aren't any different. It still shows up as 330i on the trunk, unless the owner added the ///M after 330i themselves... No, I don't have the ///M on my trunk.

The CDN model without the engine modification was called the M Sport Package, which I believe is no longer available. I think it is now called the M Executive Package with a bunch of other stuff now...also with no engine modifications.
