Does anybody know what this thing is?
Is it some kind of sensor? Active cruise control or something?

Radar sensor for ACC. Same as on 5.
One of the few things Merc knows how to do better. Their radar sensor is far less visible.

I think that it looks sort of cool - big and obvious like that.
I would like my ACC sensor to have a big RAYTHEON logo on it.  .
