BMW ipod adaptor questions

I am thinking about purchasing the BMW ipod kit but I have a couple of questions. If I have the dealer install it does it have to go in the glove box or can I have them put it in the compartment below the climate control? I've searched but I can't find an answer to that question.

Sure, they could put it there... if they are willing to drill a hole in the back of that compartment.

Sorry, I forgot one other question. Will the BMW ipod adapter work if I have bluetooth??

(Although once again, the icelink is far superior to the BMW ipod interface, search this forum for more info).

ok i`m trying to find an ipod interface for my 2000 528i that works with the steering wheel controls and displays info on the radio`s screen......also i,m looking for the next NY meet

The Icelink is what you want.. it does all of that and will work with your car.
