Favorite ZHP feature?

I've had her for 2 months and 2K miles. I really like the alcantara/cloth seats, but I love the Imola Red and MTech front spoiler.

No, ZHP stalling is not an option. ZHP haters

I posted the same poll on e46fanatics, it will be interesting to see what those 'kids' say.

I think my favorite thing is how it looks. The front facia, the meatier wheels, lower stance, . . . it's just really tough looking.

You know, I loaded everything I could into this one so there'd be no regrets.

Saw an M3 yesterday. Man, I could have had an M3.

It sounds lame, but to me it's the combination of all the things that make this car so great to me. I really enjoy the looks it gets when I'm at a light. Some guys look at the wheels and point, some look at the color and get a misty-eyed look, as they stare from behind the helm of their SUV or minivan. Sometimes it's fun to show off a bit, and let a car nut next to me see what she'll do, kinda like how it would be cool to watch a GT3 take off or whip through a corner.

Do you really need to call attention to the fact that you blocked him?

You started the thread and you damn well know how people react to anything with ZHP in the subject, so dont whine if not everyone comes in to rub your p***y

Oh, and...

M suspension according to http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...10&postcount=1

It's not $3900, only fools pay MSRP for options. Subtract the sports pkg and you get $2460

You missed out 2 of the items that are also my favorites: The short throw shifter, and the wonderful exhaust, both looks and sound. But my most favorite is still the M-suspension (or whatever you want to call).

My favorite single part of the option package is the suspension. But like RSPDiver, I bought it because of the way the entire package transforms the car. Any one piece would not have been enough to convince me to check that box on the order form.

Also note that the package was not quite perfect for me. I went with leather out of personal preference, even though I did like the alcantara a lot. I also would have liked a limited slip diff with even higher gears. Of course if the M3 came with 4 doors I think we all know what a lot of us would have ordered....

I think he is referring to the fact most people on this forum view the sports package as a must-have option, so for the additional 2460 on top of the sport package (as this is combined with ZHP) you get the factory painted aero kit, short-shifter, steering wheel and horespower/torque bumps along with larger wheels.

The sports pkg is a must. The ZHP is an upgrade to ZSP, and you can't get ZSP + ZHP.

What's the price diff between a 330i ZSP and a 330i ZHP?
Answer - $2460

This doesn't work if you don't intend to get the sports pkg.

The ZSP already comes with an aero kit, steering wheel, and alloy wheels, so you shouldn't include those in the list of things you are getting with the "additional 2460"

Right, okay, so you are getting the upgraded versions of these features...just like the sport package comes with upgraded versions of things on the base 330i/ci...if you dig the M-Tech aero kit, i think its worthwhile to go for the zhp, as the parts and paint and installation would be in the neighborhood of $1500. A factory paint job on the kit is worth a premium, I'm just not going to state a dollar amound for fear of getting flamed

Plus, adding 18" rims/tires (if that's what you want) would cost atleast a grand, swapping the steering wheel would be atleast 200 (providing you get $150 for the standard one) not to mention the exhaust/engine work stuff like that is also provided when you spring for the ZHP...

The above is assuming that you actually WANT all this done, which is why it is an option...

Since someone brought it up, and it's been mentioned 1000's of times, the ZHP package is a rip.

That being said, I like the M Tech spoilers and that wonderful Imola Red!!

How is it possible to repeatedly argue over something so subjective as the value of the option package? If you compare the 3er to it's competition, you may say the BMW isn't worth the extra. If you compare cars to public transportation, you may say that owning a car isn't worth it. Screw it, let's all live under the freeway and eat grubs! That way we could never be though of as getting bad value for money.

The retail price for the M68 17" rim is actually MORE than the M135 18", an upgrade for you but BMW's cost hasn't changed.

Should BMW really be allowed to charge all that money for what they could have swapped for free? The only upgrade I see is the leatherette -> cloth interior, which I believe is the most significant part of their cost.

Im not trying to convince you that you overpaid, Im saying that BMW is overcharging. If I'm thirsty in the movie theater, I have to buy a large soda for $4. Shame on me for paying, or shame on the theater for setting that price?

If you paid what you feel was worth it, then there is no issue. Im just saying that you bought a $4 soda, so stop telling us what a great bargain it was.
