edmunds.com preview
gave it a pretty good initial review. the video review is pretty worthless, but has some good shots of the car driving around a track and on the road.

Sounds promising. Think what you want about the appearance, but the reviews so far seem to indicate BMW has not lost the driving feel we like.

Did you have an opportunity to read the review on Edmunds? I read it as a glowing review of the e90, including the performance and handling.

Alan,
Misread your statemant as "losing the driving feel". I agree. Most reviews I have read certainly are very complimentary of the driving feel.

an electric cooling pump and a volume-controlled oil pump that only pumps as much oil as needed, saving engine power
 Love the lunch comment. I spend $5/day on lunch. Collegues $20-25.
