Munich Marriott Hotel... to Delivery Center

I've really been avoiding posting yet another cry for assistance on directions from the Munich Airport to a Hotel and then from a Hotel to the Delivery Center, but... what the heck.

Could someone point me to another thread or give suggestions for:
- Munich airport to Munich Marriott (City Center North), prefer to take U-Bahn.

...then...

- Munich Marriott (City Center North), to Delivery Center, prefer to take U-Bahn.

So you got the Marriott thru Priceline??

I wouldn't worry about Marriott ~ Delivery center The concierge will tell you how to get there thru the U-Bahn.

cheers,

Thanks for the post. I am also staying at the Marriott and will need directions. Is there a shuttle for Marriott from the airport. I thought I read that somewhere. I am not a fan of paying hefty taxi fares whe Europe has the best transportation system.

Yes Marriott does have a shuttle from and to the airport I saw it on the Marriott web site I think it's about 7 euro. which I guess is better than 70 for a taxi.

I need to call Marriott to find out at what regularity the shuttle runs, no sense in waiting for an hour at the airport.

I think there is a non-Marriott shuttle that stops nearby, but please let us know what you find out about a Marriott shuttle. Thanks.

Thanks, I will also try to contact the Hotel myself and post results.

Shuttle from airport to Marriott Hotel

Here is the latest information I got directly from the Marriott Hotel(City center North). There is no Marriott(sponsored) shuttle from the airport to the Hotel. There is a Marriott shuttle from the Hotel to airport. The gentleman told me that there is a Lufthansa shuttle for 9,60euros/person that has two stops. 1)City center North-5-10minute walk to Marriott Munich and Marriott Renaissance. 2)Munich city Center stop. I hope this helps and is not old news already posted. Here is the Munich Marriott's phone number I called 011-49-89 360020

Yam,

Very good...... I was planning on embarking on the U-Bahn journey from the airport. Shuttle sounds much better.

Bee... Yes, I got Marriott City Center North. I had been bidding $60-$62 USD for a couple of weeks and kept getting rejected. The site kept telling me to add $17 to my bid and try again. Once you told me that CCS didn't have 4* hotels...... I got back on prepared to use that "old trick"....... I bid North only first and they accepted my $62 bid. Didn't have to use the trick. Also.. thanks for the tip on the concierge. I didn't want to assume anything.

Looks like the weather is a bit nippy right now..... Monday temp ranges in Munich are 16-12 F... and SNOW! God (or someone) please help me!

We took the Lufthansa Bus a few weeks ago. You can get the tickets at the hotel. Used a cab from the Marriott to the bus stop because of our luggage and we got the first bus out in the morning.I believe the bus comes by every 20 minutes. The cab was about 5 euros Make SURE that the bus driver drops you off at the right place in the airport. Its along walk if he don't.
Good luck

Nice bid, I got in at $65.00 having been rejected at $60.00 and I added a day to get a second bid.

As for the weather, it seems to be quite a bit warmer than you said (16-12F) More like 16 low 37 HIGH for the next 10 days, and your pickup day is the projected high for the period at only 26 low and a blazing 37 High!! (but indeed "Snow showers")

Vern,

I'm going in the opposite direction.... Airport >>>>> Hotel. I'm assuming the Lufthansa shuttle is located with all the others.... Is there a special place to buy the shuttle tickets at the airport... or just give money to the driver?

For the Lufthansa shuttle, just give your money to the driver when you get on the bus. It was _so_ convenient, especially for the Marriott and/or Renaissance hotels.

Here is the product slick for the Lufthansa Airport Bus:
