Exclamation Inviting M5 owners to a car meet on March 19, 2005.

Hey guys,

Over at the M3forum we wanted to get together for an M car meet in King of Prussia, PA. Here's a link to the thread on M3forums -> http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=52662

If you don't have access to the forum, here's a copy and paste from within the thread. I hope some of you guys can meet up with us. Should be a fun and sunny day:

OK everyone, there's been a lot of activity in the PA thread and no action so I have decided to take the initiative and organize a meet. I'm thinking:
Saturday, March 19th, starting out somewhere in King of Prussia (as everyone knows where that is and can get there early). Probably meet up in the movie theater parking lot, get lunch (I don't know how high brow you guys want this to be but I think hooters would be good), and then drive to various photo spots. Valley Forge Park has some great spots we could use and I was thinking the helicopter museum would also make for some cool pics. I'm going to drive around and scope out the area for other good locals soon so if anyone has any suggestions... post them.

What so late? Well, winter is basically over by then so everyone can take there snows off the day before :-). Also, by arranging it in advance people can mark it now instead of not being able to make it as they already have plans. Finally... I get my new M the weekend before.

Send me an email if you want to attend (I'm going to make a mailing list to keep people up to date). Email address is Obioban[at]mac.com.

(make the [at] into an @ and eliminate all spaces)

Potential Destinations under consideration:
(and please suggest more!)

KOP Mall:
160 North Gulph Road
King of Prussia, PA 19406

Drag strip (though, having looked into this, we would have to move the meet either a day or week forward if we want to do this):
Maple Grove Road & Alleghenyville Road
Mohnton, PA 19540-7751

Valley Forge:
Can't find an exact address but obviously they are in Valley Forge, PA. Here's their web site if you want directions: http://www.nps.gov/vafo/index.htm

Helicopter Museum:
American Helicopter Museum & Education Center
1220 American Boulevard
West Chester, PA 19380

Hooters:
435 Dekalb Pike
King Of Prussia, PA 19406

Thus far we have about 17 M3 owners attending the event of various model years.
