New ZHP wheels
I'm am about to purchase some ZHP wheels from a fellow enthusiast. I'm very excited.
However, I'm starting to think. I want to put these on my stock suspension '04 325i. I'm concerned that this will make it look like a tank. I guess I can live with a slight gap change. What are your opinions? I would rather not spend more money, but the seller is also selling his zhp suspension. A few questions: If I put ZHP suspension on my car, how would it affect the warranty (being oem bmw parts)? How much is the dealer gonna charge to install the suspension, and will they even do it (I'm sure I am uncapable of this install myself)? Also, what is the lowest price I can ask for if I am interested in the suspension (1k mi) considering I wasn't in the market for them in the first place? Any other information or comments would be appreciated? I am really interested in these wheels, but am starting to get unsure, and being enthusiasts you all probably have decent advice? Oh, and I am considering eventually adding on the mtech front, sides and rear. If that will make it "look lower" without a suspension change? Any help would be appreciated. I'm just drooling over zhp rims, I've wanted them ever since EVER! Thanks! |

I assume you don't have the sport package on your 325i. If so, it will look a little lifted, although the actual gap will be the same. It probably won't bother 99% of the people that see it, and that may include you (or maybe it will bother you
).The suspension swap should void the warranty just as it concerns those suspension pieces that are swapped. |

I'd be more concerned about the impact those wheels will have on your acceleration. With the 325, you're not swimming in excess HP. Throw on that much extra unsprung weight and you can really slow yourself down.

TD, i didn't realize that. But, I don't think it should be too much of a problem for me considering i'm pushing 250 lb. myself.
(maybe I should sell the 3er and start walkin')there are only two mods I would do to my car 1) zhp wheels 2)m aerodynamic kit I would love to do both, but just out of curiosity who thinks which would have more of a sporty impact? Thanks for all your help |

No, I don't have any quotes. I was wondering myself. Originally, I had planned on purchasing from someone upgrading their zhp suspension.

Wheels look great on those tourers...and I notice they have the same front end as the ZHP...is it a package available in Europe?
