Friend's M3 hydroplaned, spun out, & hit center divider--Is it totaled?

Pic of my buddy's '04 Jet Black M3. It just plain sucks. Reminds everyone to slow down in the rain...

If it were mine I would prey that the insurance company totaled it. I don't think I'd want it back repaired, as it would likely never drive the same again

Ouch! Just glad he didn't hit anyone. The X5 is awesome in the rain. It gives a much more secure feeling than my E30 did. It still has its limits though... hydroplaning is scary.
