Keyless Remote MIA
Hello all...first post, so go easy on me.
I just bought a 1995 525i yesterday and it did not come with a keyless entry remote. I know it is installed because I see the components under the rear seat. Anyone have any suggestions on how and where to get a replacement remote? Thanks, mrstellabmw |

My 540i remote is part of the key. I think you're stuck with the stealer on this one.
When I bought my spare it ran around $100 as I recall. Bob 1995 540iA

Thanks Bob for the help. I guess I will go
and get ripped off from my local dealer. Is there any dealers online that are honest and will do sales over the internet?

There might be some coding involved and so it may be an "in person" thing that you need to do.
If it can be done over the net, try www.pacificbmw.com. I order from them all the time and they usually have the best prices. Be patient when calling them...and I would call them. |
