Question Bluetooth Code for pairing.

I was trying to find the bluetooth code that can pair my LG PM-325 with my X. I did not recieve any bluetooth card that has the code on it. I also read that the code is located on the bluetooth module. Can anyone tell me if the dealer can still give me the code or where the module is located so I can do it myself?

The Bluetooth module should be located in the left rear compartment below where the CD changer and nav computer (if equipped) is mounted. You'll need to remove the unit in order to find the passkey, as it is not readily visible otherwise.

There's a tab on the sticker on the module which is supposed to be removed and placed on the passkey, which should be in one of the pockets in your owner's manual binder.

Here's a picture of the Bluetooth module (from bimmernav.com) so you can see what you're looking for:

Additionally, the dealer can read out the code using the diagnostic computer.

Terry, I think the combo Bluetooth/Assist module which is made by Motorola (as opposed to the pre-2005 BT module made by Visteon) that comes on the 2005's looks slightly different.

Whoops - my bad. I missed the fact that this was a car with Assist. I don't know where the code is for those, sorry.
