E46 325Ci vs E36 M3

well, you already know how this one ends. oddly enough, it was even until about midway through second gear, and that was about the end of that race i even floored it through to 4th and by the time i was going 80 he's still gaining. probly old news to you people, just thought id rant. 325's are so slow compared to other 3's. id take 50 more hp over H/K and a sunroof. maybe an E36 M3 is the way to go for me...considering i wont be affording an E46 anyday now.

would an E46 330Ci beat a E36 M3? how much hp do the M3's have?

e36 M3's have 240hp, 240 tq. 330s have less hp and torque and weigh more. I sometimes wish I bought a 99 M3 instead of my 325Ci. E46 is much more refined and modern, but for the pure driving experience, the verdict seems to be for the e36 M3, although I havent driven one.

The closest 330 to an E36 M3 is a 330 with ZHP. Not quite as fast (but close), suspension is arguably as nimble, and the ride is worlds better. There's plenty of discussion on this comparison if you search around here.
