Exclamation Problem With Time And Trip-o-meter Resets After Every Start

Help, i have a 2002 325i, and when i start my car everytime i notice the clock and trip-o-meter resets itself everytime. Also i noticed that my warning light when i open the door and leaving the lights or keys in doesn't beep. Can someone help me out. Much help is appreciatiate. Thanks

Does your remote key work and can you turn on your map lights when the car is off?

I lost the remote key so im using an aftermarket alarm, and the map light does turn on.
