I am the proud owner of my first BMW! It is a 1999 323i convertible! It has the business model of the indash cassette and 6CD changer in the trunk! I would like to add MP3 and XM (via MyFi unit) capabilities to this OEM head. Suggestions, Ideas? Thanks!

Possible, but would require you to rewire and that spell $$$$$.

Are You Sirius? :)
If you get a satellite reciever one option is to use an FM modulator unit. Then you can set an FM channel on your stock unit without having to re-wire anything. I may do this on my 328IS. My first Bimmer too!
