Keyless entry alarm
My car has keyless entry but I dont have the key pad. It does really have an alarm. Can I add an aftermarket one? Any suggestions. Also where can you buy a spare key for a bmw instead of going to the dealer.

Its not neccessary you have one,but you can buy the alarm and install it yourself. Yes, you can add and aftermarket alarm. Just make sure the installer knows what they are doing. Tell them none of that kung fu splicing and dicing crapy. Get an aftermarket thats a PnP (Plug and Play). To get a spare key for your car, would the dealership. No outside company can product the master key for you. They could probably get the the trunk keys, but that all about it. They keys are speical made to work with your car EWS, thus allowing you to start your car...

turner motorsport sells them. Its not cheap though. Best route is go through Ebay. You can pick them up for less then $250.
