Check KBB or NADA for current prices in your area.

Make sure it has the sport package, or you won't be happy. I also suggest reading the wiki at the top of the page for common problems to check for, and other pertinent info.

It is up to you whether you buy the car or not. We can help with certain information.
Tell us more about the car. What options does the car have? How does the body look? How does the top look?
Are you purchasing from a dealer or an individual?

Think sport package is standard, but may not have sports seats.

Should i buy 2006 330ci conv for 18500-more info

Body and top very good. Purchasing from ind. no sports seats or sports package. Why is sports package so important ? Does car age well ? Rembember has 46000 miles and heated seats. I think car in good mechanical condition and will have car checked out by a BMW Service Center. Thanks for your help !

I don't think so from what I have seen. Neighbor has a 330 vert, and it sits much higher than mine, and does not have sport wheels, or sport seats. I sat in it, and the seats were very cheap feeling, and much less comfortable. It may depend on the year though.

I think it's kinda expensive! A couple of of thousand dollars off is just about right.

Not everyone needs or wants the sport package, it's buyer's choice.

Very true, but I don't know one person that has it and regretted it, although I know several who do not, and really wish they did.

OP; read the wiki to see what it contains. Only drawback if you live in NY is that you will have to buy an extra set of wheels and tires for the winter. Sports package comes with summer only tires.

Perhaps that's true, but it's anecdotal at best - maybe your friends are more "sports package-minded".

You actually gave the best argument against the SP in this very post, and the only reason I'd consider not having it again (my first BMW was a non-SP model and was a superb urban and everyday driver). Every time I drive my current car into NYC, I hold my breath ( a problem which disappears during the winter months when I switch to 17's and high profile snow tires).

The buyer needs to drive a sport vs non-sport model, evaluate how the car will be used day to day and go from there.

Why did you buy a ZHP then? In my previous post I actually agreed with you. Why the devils advocate attitude Ed? Edit: Never mind Ed. I just visited your biography, and I understand. No need to post your reply, I've moved on

Didn't even read anything in this thread and just saw the price. That's A LOT you can get SO many other awesome cars for that much. Including a E46 M3 easily.
