Central locking problem

Hello! First i have to apologise for my English because it`s not my native language! I have a problem with locking/unlocking doors on my bmw e34,525,
`91. Everything was fine some time ago but suddenly one day it just
happened, i could`nt lock/unlock my cars doors with remote, but i can do it
with my key and manually all doors work fine. I have a mongoose base 475
alarm system on my car which is controlling central locking system. I would
be thankful if anybody could give me any advice or tip what i should check
first and also if anybody has an electrical diagrams about related system.

Best regards!

Always check your fuses first. If the key locks all door with one turn then it most likely IS NOT a fuse. BUT if your key only locks the door you use it in then it is most likely the fuse that controls the central locking system. The easy test is to sit in the car and close the doors. then hit the door lock button if there is one inside of the car to lock all the doors. If that works then your native central locking system should be fine and the problem could the be mongoose systems connection.

Good Luck! and check your fob batteries!
