lost radio security code??
i'm actually trying to help my boyfriend out, he drives a 1987 325i and when he recently had some work done on the car, the radio was reset bc the electric portion was detatched - or something along those lines. i know all you guys probably know what i'm trying to describe, but i dont have the right words! so sorry! anyways, the security code has been lost, and i'm wondering how you go about retrieving the code so that we can get the radio working again?? if anyone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it!!

You have to go to the dealer to recode it.Or just buy a decent cd player/deck.

pull out the radio and get the serial number. Ca;; the local parts department at BMW center and ask for the code. It aint like people are selling stolen 'benzi-boxes' from e30's.
