2009 328i xdrive starting issues

hoping someone can help. i bought a used 2009 328i xdrive a couple months ago (142k miles) .having a new issue with it starting slowly. cranks about 8-10 times before it starts. its been back and fourth to the dealership for a month now. i'm totally frustrated and refuse to bring it back there. originally they thought it was the battery so they put a new battery in. I took the car home, same issue. I brought it back and bmw dealership diagnosed it as the fuel pump, so they installed a new fuel pump. they finally thought they fixed it, just got it back last night, it started up normal twice and then back to the same issue. no codes are coming up, no stored codes either . they think its a fuel pressure issue but cant seem to pinpoint it. not sure if this is related at all but the abs warning lights come on randomly, only when they get wet (carwash, rain) ,never when its dry out. i have no clue if that is at all related to the starting issue, i wouldnt imagine it would be but figured i should throw it out there. no other issues with the car. it was always maintained at a bmw dealership. hoping someone can shed some light on this. i appreciate any thoughts.

My thoughts:

I would lift up the carpet at driver's & passenger's footwell near the A-pillar and drive through a car wash to see if that area gets wet. Plus the trunk.
Also I would check it under the hood if the drains in the wells of the brake fluid reservoir and the DME are open so water can escape.

If the issue is so mysterious, I would connect an oscilloscope to the crankshaft and camshaft signals to see if they are healthy so the DME can recognize the timing.

One more thing to check is the throttle body. Make sure it's open at the time of the engine start.

Also I would find a way to continuously monitor the fuel pressure so I could check it when the issue is present.
