Question e46 factory alarm

Hi does anyone know where i can find the wiring digram for my factory alarm and also where it is located in my car? I have a 2002 325i but i lost the key and it cost too much to get a new one. So i have an extra 7 channel alarm at home and want to install it. Also, does anyone know if i can just cut out the factory alarm and just reconnect wires to the aftermarket? Thanks, any help is appreciated

Are you sure your car has the factory alarm? And what does that have to do with losing the key? How do you expect to open the doors and start the car without a new key?

check this out, it may or may not help. (locating your alarm)

in regards to your alarm...sell your aftermarket alarm and buy a new key. Life is better with a remote key, cant afford a new key...sell your car soon.

If you can't afford a new key, you're in the wrong car.

Wow, you guys are a bunch of dicks. Someone said that to me when I had to shell out $450 for front window regulators.

I agree.

Yeah, I know. That comment I made was very immature. Whatever. Get a sense of humor.

Come on guys,
Lots of folks have to make sacrifices in other area of their lives to afford a nice motor.
They think it's worth it...but it's not always easy to find a few bucks for stuff like this.
This being a forum for folks who love BMWs, I'll bet there's a large proportion in that boat around here.
That said, I don't think I'd rag out a perfectly good factory alarm for want of a master key. It could easily end up being the more expensive option.
