Not another Aux Input question.. POWER?

Okay, I just installed a Ice-Link in my '01 325Cic and a mini ipod for my fiance. I have an X5 with the Aux input and a Belkin charger (the one with the audio output by the plugin) in the footwell.

The end result was in my X5 I can control the Ipod from the mount right next to the radio. From the 325Cic, the Ice-Link disables the control of the Ipod and I have to use the radio to use it.

Both work fine, but I like the X5 setup better. When you're used to using the Ipod, I don't think it's any more distracting than the radio or NAV (IMO)

So --- Can I do the same thing in the '01 325Cic? Here's the problem. I know Blitzsafe sells an aux input for the '01 325 that plugs into the changer just like the Ice-Link, BUT that will not provide the Ipod with power...

Is there a device that will give me aux input AND power from the CD Changer wires? I have not been able to find this anywhere. This way, I could have run a Belkin charger to the power and use the port on that to plug into the RCA's...

The other alternative would be for Ice-Link to give a hack or option to "re-enable" ipod based control. That would be nice too. I may have to go to an '02 or later deck though to just have the AUX appear on the deck..

Thanks!
Tom

Check the manual for your icelink. You can put it in "ipod" mode which disables the icelink interface, giving you full control of the ipod.
